BUBBLE SCHOOL FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS ONLY: On Monday we will continue with bubble schooling, thank you to all parents who have supported us by continuing to keep their children at home despite the temptation to bring them into school. We only have a small number of teachers on site for bubble school and we have been encouraged to keep numbers on site as low as possible.

A reminder, please remember bubble school at Alert Level 3 is only for students of essential workers who do not have someone at home to care for their child.

If you do intend to send your child to bubble school, please make sure you have read the email previously distributed and reply via the email address provided in the email.

HARD COPY PACK COLLECTION: We will recommence with our hard copy packs for week 3. This will be a drive-through collection. This will be open on Monday and Tuesday between 9.30 a.m. – 2 p.m. More information will be sent out regarding hardpack need to know information in a separate email.

NOVEMBER 15: There has been some discussion around a return to school from November 15. This is yet to be confirmed and currently we are in a wait and see space. If any further information is provided to us we will inform our parent community as soon as possible.

VACCINATION MANDATE: In the last newsletter we informed our community of the requirement for our school employees to be vaccinated as mandated by the Government and Ministry of Health. We are working with staff to ensure we have up to date information on their vaccination status. Please note all information will remain confidential. For our parent community we would like to assure you that the Puhinui Board will follow the mandated expectations for employees of Puhinui School.
